The Smugglers' Trail
Based on the history of the region, with a comic book as topo-guide, this hike launches children on a mountain treasure hunt. Playful signposts allow you to find a secret code and solve a riddle at the top of the Crêt du Midi chairlift. A 2h30 family outing at 1700 m altitude, where you too can find Fanfouétomas' treasure!

La Thonnaz no longer rings
To venture out on this new trail, solve the riddles along the way and find the hidden treasure, you'll need water, a snack, walking shoes... but also the comic book and its game kit, sold at the Praz tourist office for 6€.
You can also eat and sleep at the Plan de l'Aar refuge if you want to extend your mountain experience and enjoy nature.
Bonus: if you manage to collect all the clues, you'll receive a gift... which can be interlocked with the gifts from the other communes, to create a board game!
Leave the car in Praz, TAKE THE FREE SUMMER SHUTTLE!
To avoid parking problems in the hamlet of La Tonnaz, which has a parking lot with just 10 spaces, the town council has decided to set up a free shuttle service during the summer school vacations, which will make the following stops every 20 minutes: Parking des Varins - Belles - Village - Tonnaz. For those interested, the Pysae mobile application will enable you to locate the shuttle in real time.

LES ÉTOILES ET TÉTRAS RANDOS
3 hikes, 3 levels: from the easiest to the most difficult! On presentation of a photo of the young hiker (on camera, smartphone...), on one of the three summits concerned, a diploma of success and a medal (on sale at the Tourist Office for €2), in the form of an edelweiss, is awarded to children according to their difficulty. The three hikes all take less than 2 h. Accessible from age 3/4, depending on the child.
+ Les épines blanches (BRONZE STAR). This trail offers panoramic views of the Mont Blanc massif and the whole of the Val d'Arly, with many old farms along the way before entering the forest. Elevation gain: 190 m. Walking time: 1h15.
+ Lac des Evettes (ÉTOILE D'ARGENT). This is an easy walk, lasting around 1h50. The itinerary in a mainly forested environment takes you to the banks of a small mountain lake. Elevation gain: 270 m. Walking time: 1h50.
+ Ban Rouge (ÉTOILE D'OR) One of Praz sur Arly's highest peaks. At 1,983 m, there's a 360° view of the 3 massifs: Aravis, Beaufortain and Mont-Blanc! Ascent: 450 m (from Crêt du Midi chairlift). Walking time: 2h45.
Tétras Randos
3 itineraries for families who want to discover other hikes with a little more difficulty. A diploma of achievement and a medal, in the form of a Tetras Lyre, is awarded to children depending on the hike.
+ Bonne Fontaine = (Tétras rando Vermeil). A chapel in honor of the Blessed Virgin called Bonnefontaine. "Popular tradition has it that a monk following the stream formed by the Bonne Fontaine climbed up to the soure and declared that the Blessed Virgin wanted to be honored there. Ascent: 390m. Walking time: 3h
+ Plan de l'Are (Tétras Rando Platine). Lovely family destination facing Mont Blanc and Beaufortain. Forest road to refuge: friendly welcome from the alpagistes (snacks, local produce). For children, farm animals. Elevation gain: 553 m. Walking time: 3h40.
+ Mont de Vorès = (Tétras Rando Diamant). Also known as Tête des trois Coins, near Véry, this is a typical example of the neighboring Beaufort alpine pastures. The route takes in three of Praz's classic mountains: Crêt du Midi, Ban Rouge and Mont de Vorès.
